Louver Repair Pin 3/4" Long, Spring Loaded
Commonly used to repair Vinyl, Polysatin, Hunter Douglas Palm Beach, Hybrid Shutter
These shutter pins support the louvers in the shutter panel and allow the louver to rotate.

INSTRUCTIONS: The large end is inserted in the stile (frame). The small end is inserted into the louver. These pins are Spring Loaded. Simply pass the louver over the pin until it finds the hole at the end of the louver (or use a blade to depress the pin, then remove the blade when you slide the louver over the pin). It'll pop into the hole to keep your louver secured in the shutter panel.

Louvers are held in place a small spring-loaded plastic parts (louver pin) on each end of the louver. The louver pins fit into holes drilled into the stiles to keep louver in place & rotate properly.

NOTES: If the pin does NOT spring out all the way, it could be because the hole (on the frame) is too tight. Make the hole slightly bigger with a drill bit until the pin springs freely when pressed & released.
